FROM LEGEND TO CHAMPIONSHIP: OBERNDORF EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP 2020
Top racers will gather at the start line in the picturesque Alps on September 12, 2020, when Oberndorf/Tyrol/Austria will host the Spartan European Championship. Oberndorf is renown as one of the hardest Spartan Races in Europe. And it proudly bring on its name. Beating the Beast in Oberndorf is like falling in love with mountains, forests, rivers, lakes and cows. Oberndorf/Tyrol will be a true test for Spartan elite and age group racers who have their eye on the 2020 European Champion title.
Whoever will finish the Oberndorf beast will be a hero for lifetime!
The authentic mountain village is a perfect canvas for developing a rugged and signature course. Be prepared for Oberndorf vertical slopes, the cold waters of its rivers, and high altitude trails.
Whether you’re an elite or first-time racer, this is an event you shouldn’t miss. Anyone can register for the open heats of Beast and Super, and for the elite/age group/open Sprint you can compete for the title of European Champion and access the Elite and Age Group Championship Beast heats.
NOTE: The Championship Heats Elite & Age Group registration opens on December 1st, 2019. If you have already qualified you will receive your email invitation by then.
EARN YOUR CHAMPIONSHIP SPOT
Top Elite and Age Group racers from all European Spartan events (July 01, 2019 – September 06, 2020) will qualify for the 2020 Spartan European Championship.
ELITE QUALIFIERS: Top 10 male and top 10 female with roll down finishers from all Elite race heats will receive an invitation email with a code and instructions on how to register for the gated championship heat.
AGE GROUP QUALIFIERS: Top 10 male and top 10 female with roll down finishers from each age bracket of all Age Group race heats will receive an invitation email with a code and instructions on how to register for the gated championship heat. Exception for DACH series with 20 participants qualified.
